THE ROOM

from HAROLD PINTER

EXPLOSIVES B | Cambridge, MA | February 2017

THE ROOM was a site-specific staging of nobel-laureate Harold Pinter's first play in an abandoned storage facility. This claustrophobic staging brings Pinter’s disturbing political allegory of isolationism and fear of “the other” (in this case a blind, black man named Riley who lives in the basement) within inches of the spectators, who themselves become a part of  the unsettling environment.
